Mini hexie fabric sets

Fabrics and paper templates to make the patchwork part of one of my mini hexie wall hangings. These projects are hand sewn using the English paper piecing technique. 

Each set consisted of 4 fat 1/16ths (approx. 9 3/4 x 10 3/4 inches or 25 x 27.5 cm) of high quality 100% cotton fabric. Equal to approximately 1 fat quarter. 

1 mini animal strip which is 100% organic cotton and measures approximately 2 x 18 inches. The strips feature 9 animals, but 10 if you’re lucky enough to get an end of roll strip! 

1 pack of 100, 3/4 inch-sided paper hexagon templates. The instructions for making and sewing the hexagons together are included. 

There are 7 to choose from: 

1. Spring garden birds (blackbird, blue tit, green finch, house sparrow, goldcrest, great tit, chaffinch, dunnock and wren) with fritillary fabric, plus catkins, cherry blossom and snowdrops. 

2. Spring garden birds (as above) with primrose fabric, plus catkins, cherry blossom and snowdrops. 

3. Woodland mammals (badger, fox, fallow deer, hazel dormouse, wood mouse, stoat, grey squirrel, common shrew and pine marten) with tree bark, oak leaves, blackberry and, nuts and seeds fabrics. 

4. Christmas robins (3 poses) with holly, mistletoe, honesty and teasel fabrics. 

5. Shorebirds (curlew, purple sandpiper, oystercatcher, turnstone, bar-tailed godwit, dunlin, red shank, ringed plover, sanderling) with sand patterns, correlina and sea lettuce, topshells and, barnacles and limpet fabrics.

6. Seabirds (gannet, fulmar, black-headed gull, Arctic tern, razorbill, shag, kittiwake, guillemot and puffin) with sand patterns, calm sea, cockles and mussels, and, barnacles and limpet fabric. 

7. River birds (kingfisher, dipper, coot, little grebe, mute swan, great crested grebe, grey wagtail, grey heron and mallard) with purple loosestrife, ripples, weeping willow and water crowfoot fabrics.
